Final Fantasy 6 New Zealand App Store launch hints at US release
An iOS version of Square Enix's classic RPG Final Fantasy 6 launched in New Zealand's App Store today, a phenomenon that usually indicates an imminent North American release.
The coming launch follows up on Final Fantasy 6's Android debut last month. Traditionally, games that hit the New Zealand App Store launch in North America the same day at 11PM ET. Square Enix confirmed that a Japanese iOS version will premiere on February 6.
