Destiny of Spirits launches on March 25 in the US, with other regions launching "around the same time," SCEA Producer Kumi Yuasa writes on the PlayStation Blog. In Destiny of Spirits, players collect hordes of upgradable spirits to battle other groups in turn-based battles.
Destiny of Spirits is location-based with social aspects that allow players to make friends and swap spirits. Each region gets a different set of creatures, and trading is the only way to snag those area-specific ones.
The beta for Destiny of Spirits led the team to reduce load time, and increase gameplay speed, spirit levels and spirit slots, so the beasties can progress more and players can hold more of them.
