Breakfast Topic: My love/hate relationship with spoilers

With the Warlords of Draenor alpha finally inviting some folks (none of whom are me) we're in that dangerous territory where people keep emailing me spoilers, tweeting me spoilers, and otherwise sending me spoiler after spoiler. Now, I'm not one of those people who believes a story can be spoiled as such. It's just a convenient term for 'plot details out of context or narrative' - stuff I'd normally learn by playing and doing, but which I'm learning now in screenshots where they manage to not get half of the stuff I'd need to understand what's going on.

Don't worry, I'm not going to share any of them with you. Except for the one about how Garrosh was captured and tortured for future information and how we totally team up with him to defeat the Iron Horde. (I just made that up. It's not a real spoiler. Again, I am not in the Alpha.) But what ends up happening is, I desperately want these spoilers, and yet, I don't. I want to know, but I want to see it unfold, not have them dumped all out of order in my lap. And yet once they are dumped in said lap I feel compelled to try and clarify them, rearrange them into a pattern that makes sense. It's a sickness.

How about you? Love spoilers, hate spoilers, hate to love them, love to hate them? What's your verdict?
