LambdaMu Games, the developer behind adorable city-builder Pixel People, has decided to reboot 2011's Dice Soccer in the form of iOS "casual strategy" game Dice Soccer League.
What exactly is a "casual strategy" game, you wonder? LambdaMu explains: "In Dice Soccer League, players get to build their dream team of soccer characters, and use them to win matches by scoring as many goals as possible. Once on the field, characters roll unique 6-sided dice and use special soccer skills to gain possession of the ball. The team that rolls the highest total on the field gets control of play, and kicks its way to an epic showdown between striker and goalkeeper!"
The free-to-play game will debut this Summer with both single- and multiplayer modes, including a 75-match Campaign. LambaMu also mentions a "unique hybrid system" which combines online and offline play, though the exact specifics of this feature are currently unclear.
