Welcome back to Massively's What Are You Playing, the game in which we tell you what we're playing this weekend and you sign our petition to make Ra'merica the official mascot of SMITE. He might just be the only character in the whole game unlikely to offend anyone. Except eagles, I guess.
@ceruleangrey: Great co-worker Eliot was kind enough to give me a trial code for WildStar. I have now purchased WildStar. And I'm playing a lot of WildStar. It really is like WoW's Burning Crusade as a full game, which is a compliment coming from me. It also distinguishes itself through fun combat, an engaging world story, and a great sense of humor. Also housing. Housing is very important.
@nbrianna: Steam sales, y'all! I picked up some new games, got access to more thanks to family sharing accounts, and reinstalled some junk I bought during the last sale and never played. MMO-wise, I might poke around in WoW or Landmark, but I can't shake that feeling that all the games I want to play are still just on the cusp of real launch or update and that I should wait.
@Eliot_Lefebvre: Well, I've hit the level cap in WildStar, not that this will stop me from playing alts. I've also got Lohlunat stuff to do in Star Trek Online and pre-patch prep in Final Fantasy XIV, and I need to finish off Final Fantasy III for my personal work. So what'll I be doing? Hiking. Forget it.
@jefreahard: Not much goof-off time this weekend, but what I have will go to VR grinding/roleplaying in Elder Scrolls Online and maybe a couple of Star Wars: The Old Republic flashpoints. I did finally break down and buy my way into the ArcheAge alpha, so I'll be dabbling in that here or there to get smart prior to launch.
@Sypster: I'm hoping to squeeze in a few hours of WildStar at some point during this crazy weekend, and will definitely be returning to Tokyo in The Secret World on Monday. Funcom's been knocking it out of the park with Update 9, although the difficulty is stupid hard (as usual, I guess).
@Shaddoe: I spent all this week fixing my air conditioner, so this weekend, I'm only going sit in bed and play whatever game I can find on my laptop. (Picture approximated.)
@MJ_Guthrie: This weekend I am shaking up my gaming. I'll be diving into Shroud of the Avatar and Elite: Dangerous to check these games out and steam them. I'll also be blowing a few things up in Marvel Heroes and trying to line my maze walls with stone in Landmark so I can template and save the whole maze. I also might do a bit more PvP in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Kill the dirty Imperials!!!
