WRUP: This is why we can't have nice things
Welcome back to Massively's What Are You Playing, the game in which we tell you what we're playing this weekend and you giggle at all the lore purists who demand in-game lore-friendly holidays and events instead of Thanksgiving and Valentine's Day because here it is. This is our punishment for hating on Ewoks with cupid wings. This is why we can't have nice things.
@ceruleangrey: This weekend I'll be leveling up my Scholar some more in Final Fantasy XIV. For a while I was dragging my feet on leveling stuff -- I don't have a single thing to 50 yet, oops -- but most of the really neat stuff added in content updates requires not only a max-level character but a sufficiently well-rounded one to boot. I gave my Elezen a makeover, which lit a fire under me. For now, at least.
@nyphur: I'll be trying to figure out the new EVE Online industry revamp and planning what to do with my tech 2 blueprints now that the copy times have been reduced. I'll probably also scout high-security space for new starbases with labs being erected that could be lucrative war targets in the future.
@nbrianna/blog: Guild Wars 2. Guild Wars 2. If I have time to game, it's Guild Wars 2. I'm behind on the new stuff, and now even innocuous things in Toli's columns are spoilering me. Doh!
@Eliot_Lefebvre/blog: I've got some Final Fantasy XIV and some WildStar to play, totally, and I also have a whole pile of Star Trek Online crafts to... um... craft? I'm also enjoying a blast from the past, since The Sims 2 is being given away free in its entirety on Origin. I'd lost my installs some time back and didn't grab all of the various packs through the years, so I'm greatly enjoying a chance to go back and enjoy myself all over again for the first time.
@Sypster/blog: I'm flirting with the idea of loading back up Dungeons and Dragons Online, but what I'll probably do is get in some serious WildStar and Lord of the Rings Online time. I have so much content to chew through in both of those games, and I've been very pokey in getting it done. That ends now! Well, this weekend!
@Shaddoe/blog: On the live Star Wars: The Old Republic servers, I'm going to hit the Gree event a few times so that I can get some Gray Helix Modules, but I think the majority of my time in SWTOR this weekend will be on the PTS because of Galactic Strongholds. However, I did promise my son that I'd play some more LEGO Minifigures Online with him
@MJ_Guthrie/blog: Because I truly have a hard time resisting festivals and an even harder time resisting housing goodies, I'll be spending some time participating in Lord of the Rings Online's summer festival. Fish, fish , baby! I also want to get some progress on my special Landmark build, and I have a bunch of farming to attend to in ArcheAge's alpha. With my free time I will be poking about and streaming the Pathfinder Online alpha.
