WRUP: Expanshapaign is too a word
Welcome back to Massively's What Are You Playing, the game in which we tell you what we're playing this weekend and you tell us what Guild Wars 2's much-prophesied expanshapaign should look like.
@ceruleangrey: I'll be helping orphans get their stuff back in Guild Wars 2, and giving stuff to kids outright in Final Fantasy XIV. I'll sit around my virtual house looking at my virtual tree and virtual snowman, and then I'll have some non-virtual eggnog.
@nbrianna/blog: I'm about halfway done with my World of Warcraft tour of Draenor, but between Christmas crazy and my sudden infatuation with Marvel Heroes (thanks, Massively crew, for that), I'm not sure I'll be playing much Garrisons Online this holiday.
@Eliot_Lefebvre/blog: There's still stuff to be done in Final Fantasy XIV, although not a wedding yet; I'd like to thank Square-Enix for making a reservation system that requires two people to stay up until 4 a.m. just to pick up a single spot for an in-game ceremony that has already been paid for. Even if you completed the quests when they were first made available. I'm also finally hitting that breaking point in Dragon Age: Inquisition where zones are starting to be cleared away much faster than they're popping up again, so the end is actually within sight.
@Sypster/blog: The fad around the office to be playing Marvel Heroes, and darn it if it didn't suck me in too. I'm Squirrel Girl and loving it, sending waves of loyal squirrels with goggles to attack the serpent ninjas of Madripoor. This weekend I also hope to be reconnecting with my WildStar Esper, Jem Hologram, and to be playing a bit more of the excellent Issue 10 in The Secret World.
@Shaddoe/blog: I will be pelting people with snowballs all weekend in Star Wars: The Old Republic. I also plan to make a killing in the dye market in that game, too. There 14 new craftable dyes add with this expansion, not including the ones you can get with reputation. In fact, for anyone who reads this and is on The Ebon Hawk server, I'll make you any of the new dyes for the cost of one Midlithe crystal. Dulfy has a list of the new craftable dyes. Just send a crystal to Shaddoe (Imp side) or Miia (Pub side) with the type of dye you'd like. Allow 24 hours for delivery; I will guarantee this offer only for this weekend!
@MikedotFoster/blog: A little WoW and maybe a little FFXIV. I just rescued another dog, though, so time is limited!
@MJ_Guthrie/blog: The Secret World Christmas event and Landmark mobs. Seriously, what more could be said? OK, one more thing could: I am throwing in another peek at Shroud of the Avatar, including streaming it at 1:00 p.m. It's the first time I've really played since release 7, and boy have things changed!
