WRUP: Looking forward to 6.1 edition
Though there's no telling when Warlords of Draenor will get its first big content patch, we've started to hear whispers about patch 6.1 which will no doubt be heading our way "when it's done." But that's no reason that we can't start talking about it -- and what it might include -- now. So today in addition to what we're playing this weekend, we're breaking out our patch 6.1 wishlist.

Why don't you join us? Jump into the comments to tell us what you're playing this weekend and also let us know what you're hoping to see when patch 6.1 comes around.

Adam Holisky (@AdamHolisky) I'll be running LFR and doing a few random quests I've been putting off. It should be a good time. In 6.1 I need to see more reasons to do things outside of my garrison. That's all I need from it.

Adam Koebel (@BendakWoW) I'll be sheltering myself from the unending cold with some Dragon Age Inquisition. As for 6.1, I'd like to see the WoD version of Timeless Isle or Isle of Thunder. That and some more hunter pets. Maybe a continuation of the Gara story where you can cure her of the void corruption and make her look like a regular spirit beast?

Alex Ziebart (@AlexZiebart) I have some writing to do this weekend, both WoW Insider-related and otherwise. In between doing that, I'll be procrastinating by leveling an alt in WoW and playing some Binding of Isaac Rebirth. In patch 6.1, what I'd like to see most is more max level solo content. I don't care what form it takes. Dailies, world objectives, something in the vein of the Timeless Isle, whatever. I just want something solo (or small group) that I can do that doesn't saddle me with a 30-45 minute DPS queue.

Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) Not going to be doing a ton of gameplay this weekend, although I should find time for the rest of LFR and of course follower missions because my team is getting pretty decked out. As for 6.1, the obvious answer from me is "more story," but besides that I'd love to see more transmog sets show up in the War Mill. Draenei themed sets in particular, but I also really would like to see the Frostwolf NPC armor available as well. If people have been diligent about collecting scraps, they likely have most all of the sets available right now, so it would be great to see more options added.

Dan O'Halloran (@danoh) I need to make the push to finish Nagrand on my druid now that I've run him through the quests that maxxed out his follower count. Also need to farm up garrison resources to finish some Level 3 building upgrades so I suppose I'll be hunting rares and hidden treasures. Since the devs already nerfed the hellacious Heroic Grimrail Depot 3rd boss, for 6.1 I would like to see more features come to my garrison as promised.

Dawn Moore (@dawnwow) I'll probably only be playing WoW this weekend. I need to finish leveling the new mage (not sure if I like it yet) and keep practicing with shadow in dungeons 'til I'm more comfortable with it. I've been loving disc, and holy isn't too different from last expansion, but I just haven't put the time in to have a good grasp on shadow. As such, my damage is pretty awful and that's just not acceptable to me (even if I never play shadow in a raid anyway). As for patch 6.1 ... I'm one of the few people who doesn't like the blood elf model update, so I'm just hoping it's not as bad as I fear it is. I don't have a problem with the body, it's fine, but that face! Blech! At least in the preview it looks like the jaw line and facial structure have changed completely. Now instead of looking like a beautiful, scowling Maybelline model, I'm afraid my priest will look like this dopey girl I went to high school with. So if 6.1 delivers a model update to the blood elves that isn't as bad as I'm expecting it to be, I'll be happy.

Elizabeth Harper (@faience) I keep saying I'd like to work on leveling pets, but honestly since I hit max level, maxxed out my garrison, and grinded some achievements (mostly those necessary to do said maxxing out), I've been pretty bored in WoW. My playtime is way down lately and I've been letting myself get distracted by other games, like Dragon Age Inquisition and Disney Infinity, both of which are feeling more fun than WoW. But that will probably change when there's more to do in WoW -- I'd love to see more story content (the Warlords storyline has been great so far) and also more additions/customizations for the garrisons. Here's hoping 6.1 has something in the works!

Matthew Rossi (@MatthewWRossi) I'm looking into getting some time to really devote to Numenera/The Strange, a couple of pen and paper RPG's I picked up over the holiday and which are some really interesting stuff, in the spirit of Jack Vance or Gene Wolfe's Books of the New Sun (in the case of Numenera) and classic RPG's like Torg or Nexus The Infinite CIty (in the case of The Strange). I also finally got the Monster Manual for D&D 5th Edition and the excellent Rise of the Runelords collected adventure path for Paizo's Pathfinder, so I'm basically going to drown myself in PnP this weekend. 6.1? Warrior buffs.
The weekend is the perfect time to kick back, relax and enjoy some game time. Are you an achievement junkie? Can't get enough raiding? Rolling a new alt? Considering taking the leap into roleplaying? Whatever your favorite way to play World of Warcraft, let us know in the comments what you're playing this weekend!
