Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today.

Jpec asked:

Does anyone else still have a level 90 boost lying around? I haven't been able to figure out what to do with the one I got through my Warlords purchase, so it's just been sitting there. Right now I'm torn between using it on my Monk (the only tanking class I don't have at least a 90 of) and my Shaman (one of the only DPS classes that has intrigued me enough to get past level 20 that I don't have maxed yet - I'm also considering healing). Any thots?

I've taken a level 90 boost and applied it to a new character, a priest (since I never finished level the other one to max in Mists), and then have had a ton of fun just starting over. Fresh professions, fresh quests, getting to run through the story all again. It's been many many years since I did some of it, so there's been a lot I've found I don't remember anymore, or simply have my facts wrong.

I also sit and listen to Matt and Anne all the time talk about lore, and while I know my stuff for the most part, I wanted to get better with it all, and the best way to to do that is go nice and slow through the quest chains.

So what you should do with your level 90 boost? Use it and enjoy WoW nice and slow.

Lenneth asked:

What I wonder is if ilevel has any advantageous purpose for follow missions, outside of unlocking harder missions that require 615/630/645 ilevel. I ask because I can plug a boosted ilvl follower up to an ilvl 600 mission and the chance of success is not really affected by a high ilvl, only appropriate traits seem to really boost your success rate.

The predominant theorycrafting that I've seen on the issue is that a follower iLevel has a minor and mostly small effect on mission success rates, beyond opening up the mission. Of course if your follow doesn't meet the mission's requirements then you're not going to be able to use that follower on the mission -- but that's all I've really noticed. Again, this is just what I'm hearing, so I give it all a grain of salt.

And if you're having trouble getting iLevel increasing items, just build a level three salvage yard and the war mill -- you'll get plenty of weapon and armor enchants soon enough.

HerrKerr asked:

What would you think about a final expansion pack raid boss that was actually a world boss, free for all - from level 91's to mythic geared 100's - to beat up?

There's certainly some attractiveness to the idea, but overall keep in mind that mandatory world bosses like that tend to be farmed and VERY nasty fights break out between raiding guilds. WoW was, in large part, made the way it is due to outdoor raid bosses having this very spawn mechanic in EverQuest.

Should we return to it? Meh... I'd rather not, to be completely honest.
