The Queue: Buildings, treasure quests, HotS, and lore

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today.

Let's hop into the questions today. I promise that none are about chili.

Craig asked:

Will we ever get garrison buildings for Archaeology, Cooking, and First Aid? It would be nice if Nomi returned as a cooking follower. When will we see Murloc, Ethereal, and Naga followers?

These are all great ideas, but unfortunately I think it's outside of the realm of possibility, unless Blizzard already has something in the works. It's a popular joke that the garrison and all its buildings cost us a raid tier (reflected by an in-game tombstone, even).

As far as the followers go, I could see a Ethereal, but I don't think there's much of a reason for Murlocs or Naga followers. They're not really established as a positive force, as much as a negative one (granted, there are pockets which are good, but for the most part they're bad guys).

Itsdeeps asked:

is the achievement for garrison treasure quests bugged or am I just doing something wrong? I've done TONS of follower missions that reward gold and things other than XP, but I haven't gotten it...

Once you get a level three in you'll get the treasure quests periodically. I haven't heard of it being bugged, and it works for me. Make sure you meet the minimum requirements and you should be good.

Iamthedoctor asked:

Q4tQ: Anyone in the beta or buying a founder's pack for Heroes of the Storm? Also, what Warcraft characters should be the next to enter the Nexus? I vote Chromie b/c she is one of my future regenerations. Also, gnome + dragon ultimate = fantastic!

I've been in it since the alpha and I feel the game is exceptionally polished. There's certainly some balance issues, and changes can lead to game-breaking bugs, but that's to be expected in a situation where the game is still in major development. I just feel the development is really good -- it's clear they're quite agile and delivering a great product as they go along. There's little to no "under construction" junk.

The founder's pack is a great way to buy yourself into the beta. You're going to use everything you get with it, so why not buy it now and start learning the game early? I can't honestly find a downside to it. I know some are just going to say it's a money grab, but paying for something useful isn't what I consider bad business or bad spending.

As far as what the next character should be -- I want figures from the Burning Legion. As to what Blizzard is actually planning -- that's for them to know and us to find out.

Martin asked:

Q4QT: What's the moment in the foreseeable future of Warcraft lore are you most looking forward to? Personally I can't wait for the family reunion between Alleria and Sylvanas, that'll be epic!

I'll be really honest here, maybe more so than I should be. I've heard a lot of rumors about the next expansion. I'm stupidly excited to see where things are going and what the next major turn is going to be.

And for what it's worth, I don't trust any of the rumors, so they're not even worth saying. But history tells me usually one of them has a shard of truth.
