Yup! You can solve any Draenor artifact beginning at level 1. I've found it goes pretty darn quick, although if you really want to go fast, wait until flying is allowed in Draenor.
What do you think are the chances of seeing Gladiator Stance becoming a legitimate fourth spec for Warriors in the next expansion?
None. I think there was a time when this would have been possible, but it's clear that as WoW ages and move towards a less complicated system of mechanics that additional specs are more and more out of the picture.
And this movement isn't a bad thing either. WoW needs to grow with its audience. So many people have grown up with the game and gone from raiding and endless grinding to having kids and being able to log on only once or twice a week. My wife and I would like to have kids within the next couple years, and I know that when I do that WoW will be taking a back seat to much more important things.
Blizzard, it seems (especially in light of comments made during their 10th anniversary), gets it. And th's why I'm going to stay subscribed.
In closing, a personal note...
Finally, I wanted to end on a personal note about The Queue.
This column has broken away the traditional mold of video game journalism and journalism in general. It's a crowd-sourced, crowd-funded melee of questions, answers, and community building. It is, I think, what the inventors of the Internet had in mind when they created it -- a free exchange of ideas that's backed by people who want there to be a greater understanding of the world around us. We've covered everything in the Queue; from WoW to WildStar, from D&D to depression, from military engagements to marital engagements. This column is a perfect reflection of the beautiful community we have, and I couldn't be happier to facilitate this exchange each and every week.
