Dumbo 70th Anniversary Blu-ray has a trailer and a release date: September 20th (Updated)
After being pushed back and rumored more than once, Disney is finally ready to release the 70th anniversary edition of its classic Dumbo on Blu-ray in the US on September 20th. As far as features the caption only mentions a digital restoration and "Disney High Definition Theater Mix Sound". Right now you can preorder the combo pack on Amazon for $27.99 or just peep the trailer embedded above. Update: Here we go, now with more box art and official press release included after the break. Expect a 7.1 audio soundtrack and Blu-ray exclusive features including Cine-Explore and Disney View plus two animated shorts, two games and a featurette. According to the press release, the picture has been restored from a 70 year old print stored by the Library of Congress that promises colors closest to those approved by Walt Disney himself, and the earlier surviving generation of the original audio for the movie.
