Ether Saga Online has been quiet for a little while, but this spring, the game is gearing up for a major update which includes a brand-new race, the Mogui. Long locked away from the world, the Mogui have broken free of their confinement in the wake of the battle against the forces of Oxen Ultera. The race has two unique classes, and the team at Perfect World Entertainment has decided to start off by previewing the hot-tempered Hellion class first. Hellions are an aggressive class, wielding twin battleaxes and assaulting enemies through direct attacks and wide-range area abilities. They've also got the ability to improve their damage via sacrificing health. At level 75, a Hellion can upgrade to either a Warlord or Ruiner depending on player choice. We've got several new shots of the Hellion in action (including a distressingly happy dance) in the gallery below, which should keep Ether Saga Online players excited about what's coming with the spring update. %Gallery-65163%

  • Phase 2 Dailies: The Battle for the Sun's Reach Armory

The main quest to unlock the 3rd phase of the Shattered Sun Offensive is quick and easy. You'll report to Harbinger Inuuro at the new building. He will ask you to go to the Dawning Square and kill 6 Burning Legion Demons, and drive the provided Shattered Sun Banner through the corpse of the Emissary of Hate, who will come after enough demons are killed. To do the quest, you'll want to head south of the Sanctum to the Dawning Square. If you'll recall, you came to this same square for The Missing Magistrix quest (47,44 for those of you with location mods). Kill any six of the demons walking around here or in the nearby buildings, be they Shivan, Infernal, or Hellion, and you'll get your kill credit. Once the Emissary of Hate spawns, kill him and use your banner while targeting him. You'll drive your banner through his corpse and receive your quest credit. It should be noted that, as of this writing, you don't have to get angry if someone else grabs the Emissary before you do. Once he is dead, anyone can drive the banner through his corpse and get quest credit, and multiple banners can be used on his corpse, so feel free to plant your banner even if someone else did the killing. Once you've done this, you can head back to the sanctum and turn in the quest. You'll get 10 gold and 10 silver, and will help your server unlock the next step of the Offensive. Once this phase of the offensive is over, this quest will be renamed "The Battle Must Go On," but the objectives and the method of completing them will remain the same. • Camelbak teams with Skullcandy on speaker-packed Hellion hydration pack

Joining the growing array of wintry kit suited to help your day at the slopes be a bit more like you never left your AV center, the Camelbak Hellion SC delivers a hydration pack, gear compartments, and few electronics to boot. The brand best know for its wide variety of liquid-toting backpacks has teamed up with Skullcandy on its latest offering, and while the whole color / design scheme is a bit too flamboyant for our tastes, the spec list isn't half bad. Aside from all the random pockets for your keys, gloves, Cheetos, and deodorant, you'll find a 100-ounce sack to keep your Kool-Aid chilled as well as a battery-powered LINK system that pipes audio from any 3.5-millieter audio out jack into the integrated speakers. Sadly, there doesn't appear to be any Bluetooth connectivity or a way to dictate anything other than volume from the strap-mounted "soft touch panel," but boarders that don't already have DAP access on their helmet, coat, or beanie can snap this up right now for just under $250.[Via Talk2MyShirt]
