If you've had it up to here with Xbox Live's troubles these past few months, why not send a powerful signal to the fat cats in Redmond: cancel your Xbox Live subscription and reinvest that money into a set of Jasman Toys' Halo 3 Laser Command toys. First announced nearly a year ago, and then shown off at Comic-Con in July, this is the first time we've actually seen 'em, y'know, for sale (did they really miss Halo-mania and the holiday shopping season?).Eagle-eyed tipster mikel spotted them in the back corner of his local Hot Topic (no teasing, commenters) and sure enough, we spotted them on internet retailers sites like Amazon and Newegg. We're not sure how long they've been available but, considering there aren't any user reviews on either site, we're guessing 'not long.' Amazon's got the Plasma Pistol for $85 (take a peek after the break) and Newegg has the admittedly cooler Plasma Rifle for just $80, along with a gallery which we've shamelessly lifted for you to check out. The real deal-clencher is the Energy Sword, which the official site promises in still coming in 2008.%Gallery-15380%[Thanks, mikel]

If you haven't gotten hyped enough over the forthcoming third installment of the Halo series, perhaps you might want to get your paws on these illified (and expensive) toy guns from Jasman Toys. Apparently, the Halo 3-modeled firearms will not only look really bad-ass on your mantelpiece at home, but the recoiling, sound-projecting, light-flashing gats will also enable you to play a game of "advanced" laser tag, called "Halo Laser Pursuit." With the accompanying wearable laser target you can try and reenact your favorite scenes from the games, as the receivers perform somewhat like Halo's shields, or so says Jasman. Really the only way this game of tag differs from the actual game is that no one dies -- and it's not nearly as much fun. Priced between $79.99 and $119.99, available in October.[Via Xbox 360 Fanboy]

Yesterday, TeamXbox reported that Jasman Toys will be partnering with Microsoft and Bungie to create an exclusive line of Halo 3 toys. But these aren't just any ordinary toys, oh no, these are replica Covenant weapons! Jasman Toys is creating a laser tag type of game using the Halo 3 plasma rifle, plasma pistol, and energy sword. Finally, we now have a way to act out our Master Chief fantasies in the real world. And we fully understand how the plasma rifle and pistol will shoot out laser goodness, but how is the world is the energy sword going to work?
