America's Next Top Model to MacBook Air: Eat a sammich
Wow. Things are going off the rails at America's Next Top Model. First they dump Twiggy, and now this: Nigel Barker (aka "the cute photographer judge") thinks the MacBook Air is looking a bit on the anorexic side. In an interview with Joanna Stern of laptopmag.com (who knew they interviewed fashion photographers!), Barker claimed that "Skinny is no longer so important". Right. Remind me again why not a single "plus sized" (aka underweight versus seriously underweight) contestant has made it to the finals. According to Stern, Barker suggested the MBA "chunk up a bit" with a DVD drive and some USB ports.

What makes for greater sensationalist media? Wii Sports accidents or World of Warcraft addiction? In the case of Autumn and Shawn, the latter takes the cake with the addition of a child into the mix. Seeking help from model turned talk show host, Tyra Banks (and Dr. Garry from Breaking Bonaduce!), Autumn comes forth with video evidence of her fiance, Shawn, turning a blind eye to their crying baby all in the name of doing battle in Azeroth. While the situation is as serious as it gets, Tyra doesn't seem to help matters, practically insinuating that Shawn is having physical relations with his computer.That is one demanding raid leader.This isn't a one-sided attack, however, as Shawn comes on stage to confront his wife and Tyra about his addiction. Yahoo! is asking celebrities to compile their holiday tech wish lists. Why? Hello, how would we know what to buy if celebrities didn't tell us? The latest celeb to list their tech wants is Tyra Banks. The top two slots on her list are given over to gear from our favorite fruit company.The iPod nano (PRODUCT) Red is first on the list, followed up by a 1.83 Ghz MacBook. I don't know about you, but I am happy in my choice of computing platform now that I know Tyra agrees.
