Welcome back to OverAchiever's Glory of the Hero guide. I honestly can't believe I started this series almost a year ago. Time flies when you're deliberately wiping Less-rabi over and over again, I guess. This is the full Glory of the Hero guide, organized by dungeon: Part I: Ahn'kahet Part II: Azjol-Nerub and Culling of Stratholme Part III: Drak'Tharon Keep Part IV: Gun'drak Part V: Halls of Lightning Part VI: Halls of Stone Part VII: The Nexus Part VIII: The Oculus Part IX: Utgarde Keep and Utgarde Pinnacle And today's guide, Part X: Violet Hold

Two Bosses Enter ... but only One Boss Leaves, in WoW.com's series of fantasy death matches. Welcome to Round Two of the five-man Wrath of the Lich King season. Grab a seat, and let's get ready to rumble! Keristrasza (tail) swept to another decisive victory this week to obliterate Zuramat the Obliterator by an even larger margin than her 75% first-round win over Cyanigosa. With just a hair less than 80% of the vote this week, the red dragon blasted her way through Zuramat's Void Sentries. The view from the spectator stands:Eddie: The dragon would win if, and only if, the sentries get hit with Intense Cold. If not, then its a clear with for Z. Gunna need some clarification for this one. I think that all the people saying the dragon win is based on the Sentries biting the dust because of Intense Cold.Invierna: You're right, but that's what would happen. One of Zuramat's abilities involves Void Shift on a random player. In this case, Keri would be solo, and could thus destroy the sentries with Intense Cold debuffs. Since Zuramat himself isn't responsible for most player deaths - his Sentries are - I'd give this fight to Keri. It seems currently 82% of readers agree.

Two Bosses Enter ... but only One Boss Leaves, in WoW.com's series of fantasy death matches. Welcome to Round Two of the five-man Wrath of the Lich King season. Grab a seat, and let's get ready to rumble! Welcome back, everybody, to another edition of the Two Bosses Thunderdome! This week's deathmatch pits Keristrasza of The Nexus against Zuramat the Obliterator from the Violet Hold. Keristrasza enters the ring with one of the largest win margins of any competitor this season, glowing after a 75% victory over Cyanigosa in the first round of matches. Zuramat the Obliterator brings plenty of power of his own, however, following up a decisive 55% win over Hadronox in round one.The ground rules: Assume that the opponents and any minions share similar levels, health pools and comparative overall damage output. This deathmatch takes place in neutral territory, which shall not hinder either boss from using his usual encounter abilities. All the usual minions will be available to each boss. Don't get caught up in gameplay mechanics and what actual players might do in each encounter. Don't neglect style, story and scale. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls ... Dyin' time's here.

Two Bosses Enter ... but only One Boss Leaves, in WoW Insider's series of fantasy death matches. This season's bosses come from the five-man instances of Wrath of the Lich King.Zuramat the Obliterator sent Hadronox and his poison to the void this week in this week's Two Bosses Enter, One Boss Leaves fantasy matchup. Despite the choking clouds of poison Hadronox laid down for Zuramat's Void Sentries, Zuramat overpowered the giant spider in a tightly contested battle.Let's start off with a look at the other scenario. "Absolutely Hadronox, hands down," claimed Daigeil. "Here's how it plays out. The two face up and start smackin' each other up. Quickly Hadronox drops poison clouds and places her DoTs. Soon, Zuramat does his thang, spawning Void Sentries all over the place, and casts Shroud of Darkness. Hadronox, being a huge spider (they aren't all that smart, y'know, and the average PuGger doesn't understand STOP ATTACKING; that leads us onto the debate of whether PuGgers or spiders are smarter, but let's not go there) just keeps hitting, stacking up the healing-cancelling effect."Soon, Void Shift comes into play. Having no other targets, Hadronox is shifted and drops Leech Poison, Acid Cloud and Web Grab, stacking all the Sentries on top of herself. Naturally, they all die shortly after Shroud's effect drops off, healing Hadronox to full! This repeats, and with Zuramat's limited array of abilities, it can only really go one way. By the time the poor Void Walker is dead, Hadronox is still at 100% from all the self-healing."

Two Bosses Enter ... but only One Boss Leaves, in WoW Insider's series of fantasy death matches. This season's bosses come from the five-man instances of Wrath of the Lich King.To battle! This week, Two Bosses Enter, One Boss Leaves pits Hadronox (Azjol-Nerub) against Zuramat the Obliterator (Violet Hold). Poison against shadow damage ... the not-yet-trapped versus the already imprisoned ... Can you predict the outcome? The usual rules apply: Assume that these foes share similar levels, health pools and damage output. We'll allow Zuramat to summon his Void Sentries, even though Hadronox himself will be the only victim of Void Shift. This match occurs in neutral territory -- no additional Nerubian spiders, no handy Violet Hold wall switches.Focus your debate on the three S's: Style, Story and Scale. Don't get caught up in game mechanics and what actual players might do in each encounter. Consider the flavor each villainous gladiator brings to bear, leave your comment on what you think would happen and why, and then cast your vote for who you think would come out on top.
