This past week's Asian PSN update was, to put it simply, a rather delicious surprise. For starters, Square Enix finally decided to shed its apathy towards PSN and shoved both recently revealed Final Fantasy XIII and FFVII: Advent Children Complete trailers onto the PlayStation Store. It'll be nice to watch those two trailers again, especially in full 1080p this time. In addition to those videos, there's also a new (and final) Yakuza 3 trailer as well as a debut trailer for the PSP "new vibe RPG" Yuusha 30. Click the links below to follow-through directly to full update content for either PS3 or PSP, and Japan or Hong Kong/Singapore regions. You know, come to think of it, the universe of PSP game releases is a lot like our very own ocean of stars up beyond the sky. They're like those twinkling balls of gas, so many of them, so many out of reach and so many that are far in between. But when one reaches for that one star they call their own, it's magical.NA Games: Star Ocean: Second Evolution EU Games: No new releases Asian Games: Hokuto no Ken: Raoh Gaiden - Ten no Haoh Patapon 2: Don-Chaka (Chinese Version) Ratchet & Clank Gekitotsu! Dodeka Ginga no MiriMiri Gundan (PSP the Best) Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida Or 2 (Chinese Version) Zill O'll Infinite Plus ... Apparently, the skies over Asia are more blessed.

It's all about PSOne classic titles this week, though none of these games really pop out as must-have imports. Biohazard 3 came out previously on the Japanese store, so that one doesn't count. All in all, it's not much but it's certainly better than what Europe got this week. The store updates are back; however, they're not back with a bang. It's actually quite the opposite. A single full game appears on the Hong Kong/Singapore store, while Japan gets a few free videos. Not the most exciting way to kick off 2009, but it's a start.Japan Video 1/5 - Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm video 1/8 - Demon's Souls trailer Hong Kong/Singapore Playable Content 1/8 - PBR: Out of the Chute full game - HK$116/SG$21.59 Please be advised that only one PSN account at a time can be activated on a PSP. We've gotten a lot of requests from our readers saying they want to see Asian PS Store updates on our site much like we do for Europe and North America. So, we're going to give it to you. In this post, you'll find a list of all PS Store updated content for Japan and Hong Kong/Singapore regions. Since these stores add new stuff on a daily basis (unlike EU and NA's designated Thursdays), we're compiling a master list of all content throughout each week.
