This week's NIntendo Channel update doesn't bring anything new. The variety of videos on offer are likely those that you've seen on this very site, including the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized trailer and some old Shaun White 2 gameplay. And we hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it's not looking too good on the DS demo front either. Head past the break for the full list. [image credit]

Now that you've seen the first screens from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on Wii, we know what you're thinking: "Man, how did they make the Wii port of Modern Warfare look worse than last year's Wii port of World at War?" First, you're absolutely right, it does look worse; second, you seem to be confused. The video after the break may remind you of the upcoming Wii port's shoddy looks, but they in fact belong to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized, the DS variant of Modern Warfare 2. On the DS, we're far more forgiving of blocky graphics. Games like Dementium: The Ward and Metroid Prime Hunters have shown us that a solid first-person experience is possible on Nintendo's dual-screened wonder, blocky pixels or not. We'll find out if developer n-Space – which has created DS versions of Call of Duty titles Modern Warfare and World at War – can deliver with this latest effort, launching alongside its console big brother on November 10. %Gallery-70481%

  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized headed to DS

crude artist's interpretation, media forthcoming Activision has announced that Modern Warfare will be traversing a much smaller battlefield this holiday with the introduction of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized for the DS. It's a little joke, see, because it's mobile? Get it? Anyway, the title is being developed by n-Space, which also worked up the DS versions of both Call of Duty 4 and World at War. Mobilized is set to feature "building-to-building tactical combat," controllable vehicles and will serve as a "companion narrative," presumably to its big brother on consoles. The game will also feature online multiplayer for up to six players, including a Survival Mode that pits players against waves of AI opponents, a la Horde Mode in Gears of War 2. An Arcade mode will also challenge players to rack up a high score. Expect Modern Warfare: Mobilized to assault retailers on November 10th. Also, on a completely unrelated note, every holiday DS game has now been delayed until 2010.
