If you somehow aren't satisfied with your growing collection of Nintendo, PlayStation, Game Boy Color and steampunk styled cufflinks, Brookstone just might be the Q to your Bond. In addition to rocking the USB-storage trick we've seen in other technological shirt links, this sleeve fastener also promises to act as a WiFi hotspot when paired with a hard-wired PC. Rounding out your technologically augmented wedding attire with these 'cuffs will set you back $250 -- unless you're working with Her Majesty's Secret Service, of course, then they're probably just standard issue.

Men have struggled for millennia to find the most immediate visual signifiers for their wealth and status. Adafruit Industries has now added to their list of choices with a set of iCufflinks that disposes with the metaphors and speaks of power literally -- by featuring a pair of power buttons. It's not enough to merely cast some Mac-inspired On / Off switches out of aluminum, however; Adafruit has also inserted LED lights within the iCufflinks, which can be programmed to pulsate to your chosen rhythm. Because keeping it classy and LEDs go so well together. If you've got $128 to splash out on a pair of eminently prestigious shirt adornments, the source link is where you'll want to head. And keep an eye out for the upcoming necklace version -- it'll be available to suave ladies and gents everywhere in the summer.

  • Steampunk USB cufflinks are as awesome as they are pricey

You wouldn't think something classifiable as "wearable storage" would look so darn dapper, but here we are, staring at just about the finest cufflinks we ever did see. Not only are these handmade shirt cuffs beautiful in the most steampunk of ways, they're also pretty useful as each features an 8GB flash storage chip with the utterly ubiquitous USB connector attached. Basically, they're what James Bond would wear if James Bond wore really awesome cufflinks. The general idea behind them might not exactly be original anymore, but we can't really fault the execution here. What we could probably find fault with is our lack of $225 of disposable coin, the price one will have to pay to sport this unique pair of hand-carved, walnut-enclosed memory sticks. [Thanks, Amelia]

Not that we haven't seen nerdy wedding bands before, but for those who aren't really enamored with networking, we've stumbled upon another option that's just too awesome to pass up. Granted, the sound wave bands have been around a finger or two, but really, how awesome is a wedding ring with an EQ interpretation of "I Do" engraved in it? We'll tell you -- really awesome. Moving on, we've got the 1981 Atari ring, a solid piece of kit sporting an original Atari chip splashed with gold or silver. Lastly, we've got Cufflinks.com's latest, a set of Guitar Hero links that will undoubtedly make the faux rocker in your life grin from ear to ear. Dig in below for more details, but don't expect to purchase any of 'em but the last, and at $50 per pair, you should probably think twice.Read - Guitar Hero cufflinksRead - Atari ring and EQ wedding bands

Reader Randy N. sent a link to these tile necklaces along to us, and they look awesome. They're made by a husband/wife team in New Mexico, and they're made from Scrabble tiles (the back apparently still has the letter on it) coated in a glassy glaze, with an assortment of colors and sayings. Very nice -- could be just the thing for someone who's a fan of Warcraft and handmade jewelry in your life. They're $9.99 apiece with free shipping, which is not too bad. And if that's too much and you want to try making them yourself, they've even got a tutorial on how it's done right there on the site. We do have one issue, though -- these pretty pendants and cute crafts are fine for the ladies and all, but what about us dudes? Maybe we can get some "pwned" or "woot" cufflinks?

Designed by Grace Acosta, these faux cufflinks made from "shiny vintage watch movements" snap onto the cuff buttons of an ordinary oxford shirt -- no fancy french cuff required. $55 and available now, ironic mustache not included.

Sure, we mostly kick gaming-themed cufflinks when we hit the town in our finest French cuffs, but we're definitely looking into getting a set of these hot one megabit EPROM links to spice things up a bit. Made by Flickr user JMarler as a birthday present for a friend, they're certainly unique -- but come on, we demand at least 1GB of wrist-based storage in this day and age.[Via MAKE]

  • Wiimote cuff links: an accelerometer short of greatness

It's somewhat unfortunate that they kept you waiting, but the same folks who brought those Sony fanboys their very own PlayStation controller cuff links have now doled out an option for Mario's closest of friends. The Wiimote cuff links don't stop with just a sterling silver Wiimote -- oh no, you'll also find a finely crafted nunchuk on the bottom end to keep the purists smiling. Sure, an actual Wii console only demands an extra Benjamin over the $150 pair, but it's not like you can find the former in stock anywhere, anyway.[Thanks, Paul]

  • PlayStation controller cuff links impress Sony interviewers

For the ladies out there, we've no doubt that rocking a set of Wiimote earrings would totally increase your chances of lookin' good stupendous in a Nintendo interview room, but for the folks hoping to get a leg up on the competition for that open spot at Sony, here's your ticket. These sterling silver cuff links each measure 0.75- x 0.5-inches and closely resemble the famed PlayStation controller, and in case that wasn't overboard enough, you can even opt to engrave the backing with Sony's stock ticker symbol for extra brownie points. Sure, $150 seems a bit steep for the pair, but practically guaranteeing yourself employment is probably worth the cost. Click on for an on-shirt shot.

Unfortunately prom season is over, though we suspect anyone who'd be interested in wearing these Game Boy Color Pocket cuff-links probably spent prom night at home with Princess Peach and pals. Seriously, what kind of nerd would wear red Game Boy Pocket cuff-links? We'd only be caught wearing original gray Game Boy cuff-links on our powder blue rental tux! Alright, original gray or maybe the GBA ... DS Lite cuff-links would be sweet ... we'd also wear PSP cuff-links ... and Pac-Man themed ones ... Pac-Man or Galaga ... [Via Engadget](Update: The myriad Game Boy models have proven too much for me to remember. These are indeed Game Boy Pocket cuff-links. Thanks Smith and deft!)
