It's no mystery what Koreans enjoy doing. They enjoy gaming and have continually embraced the medium with open arms, creating a market big enough to rival the largest on the globe. Originally, Nintendo was distributed via Daiwon in the region. In July, Nintendo launched their own Korean branch to tap into the potential of the market. Turns out, that didn't really happen.Upon visiting the "offices" of the new branch, which, according to the employees within, is not a part of Nintendo and things are still very much run by the ever-pleasant Daiwon, 4cr tells of a sad state of affairs. When asked whether these fine individuals were employed by Nintendo, one employee became particularly enraged, shouting "Did you see Nintendo written on this building?! We don't ****** care about that ****!"So has Nintendo given up on the territory or are they taking their time to launch the Wii first before committing personnel?[Via Joystiq]
