If your video gaming interests lie in seeing thousands of generic soldiers sent to their slaughter, we've got just the video for you! Capcom put out a three-minute trailer for its Samurai/Dynasty Warriors-styled title, Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes (Devil Kings 2 Heroes), splicing the carnage-filled clips with a few animated cutscenes. As you'd expect, there's a showcase of ridiculous special moves, one of them involving a warlord summoning some sort of robot in samurai gear to shoot missles at all the blundering conscripts. Sharpen your sword and bring it past the post break for the full video. We also have a gallery of stills for you to look through! Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes hits the Wii and PS2 in Japan this November 29th, but localization plans have yet to be announced for the US. Last we heard, the development team hasn't added any "waggle functionality" to the Wii version, focusing instead on more traditional controls. %Gallery-10818%

We're glad Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes (Devil Kings 2) is on the way for the Wii, because it means we get to show you these adorable dot.s sets of the characters. On September 28, Capcom will release pixel-mosaic sets featuring cuuuuute versions of videogame versions of real-life Japanese historical figures Chousokabe Morichika, Sanada Yukimura, and the pictured Date Masamune. Each one will retail for 2,100 yen ($18.30). Given that we have no idea whether the game is headed for the US, we should look to importers like Play-Asia and NCSX for the vague possibility of acquiring these little guys.

Famitsu got their hands on some great screens from two upcoming Capcom games: the colorful pirate adventure Treasure Island Z and the upgraded Playstation 2 port Devil Kings 2. We have good news and ... miscellaneous news for both.First, the good news: Devil Kings 2 looks like a hybrid of Dynasty Warriors and Devil May Cry, with cool characters and over-the-top stylish moves. Treasure Island Z's screens show off the interface, which involves-- could it be?-- a hand-shaped cursor interacting with objects on screen! Pointing and clicking, as it were! Now for the other news: for some reason, one of the playable characters in Devil Kings 2 looks like a samurai version of Ultraman, and we haven't decided how we feel about that. And in Treasure Island Z, the character has some kind of stylized Wiimote item in-game. That's kind of a cheap way to be immersive, isn't it? Check after the break for a couple of screens from each game.
