While we're waiting for the final results of the WeGame machinima contest, I thought I'd take some time to dig into the viewer submissions. The boys at Dirt Dog Gaming, of Eradar, have flooded my inbox. It's an interesting strategy that worked, but just this once. I previously wrote about their Christmas and New Years songs with a WoW spin on them. This time around, Mirabell and Barenger have parodied the infectious Katy Perry song, I Kissed a Girl. Their take, Tanked a Boss, isn't the best machinima by any means. The aspect ratio is way off and it sometimes jumps around. However, the song itself is worth it, and they get bonus points for the creative ways they give fellow guildmates shoutouts throughout the video![Thanks, Infamy, Barenger, Brendan, and Gump for your various submissions!]If you have any suggestions for WoW Moviewatch, you can mail them to us at machinima AT wowinsider DOT com.Previously on Moviewatch ...

So, by now I'm sure many of you have made your way to the Sunwell and started figuring out the daily quests. You've probably checked out our walkthroughs of the new dailies for Shattrath and the 1st phase of the offensive, and gotten your bearings pretty well. Still, there's a lot of quests to deal with, and it can understandably get a bit boggling sorting through them all. That's where Infamy of Dirt Dog Gaming steps in, with a very handy chart that breaks down all the various phases of the offensive with handy color coding indicating which quests are progressive towards unlocking content. It's definitely a very nicely done resource, and one which should help you plan out your daily runs as you work towards exalted SSO reputation, epic flying mount money, or just unlocking the island completely. Check it out!

Still high on the success of Songs for Dogs, Barenger and Mirabell have created a New Years greeting for their guild, Dirt Dog! This time, they reminisce about dungeons that no one runs anymore. "For Old Alt's Sake" is an entertaining take on "Auld Lang Syne," a New Years Eve tradition. These guys are quite talented and have an amazing rapport. It doesn't look scripted at all. Hopefully they'll enter WoW Idol 2008. Happy New Years, WoW Insiders![Thanks, Infamy!]Previously on Moviewatch...Read on to see the lyrics ...

You can find the lyrics in the thread. Here is the song list: Oh Karazhan, by Barenger Silenced Mage, by Mirabell Pew pew WIPE, by Barenger Orcs infesting LBRS, by Brendan Oh Holy Knight, by Jashoo Winters Veil, by Mirabell Halt, The Harried raid leader screams, by Datchery Take it on a Raid, by Qyu Tanking for the first time, by Mirabell [Thanks, Infamy!]Previously on Moviewatch...
