Teardown party: the MSI Wind and Acer Aspire One get ripped open
You knew this was bound to happen. Like any good piece of gadgetry, there's always someone who can't wait to get their grubby hands all over it... and rip it to shreds to see how it works. Today we present the disemboweling of two of the latest challengers to the Eee's netbook throne: the MSI Wind, and the Acer Aspire One. The Aspire One at least gets the courtesy of a proper unboxing before the medical proceedings begin; the Wind just gets cracked open like a cold PBR at your cousin's barbecue. Don't take our word for it, however -- truck on over to the read links and see the messes with your very own eyes.Read - Breaking WindRead - Acer Aspire One Unboxed and Disassembled
Samsung Instinct gets disassembled, with instructions!

Found Footage: Disassemble your iPhone for fun and profit
Maybe it's just because I'm a big geek, but there's something absolutely fascinating about watching the complicated process of disassembling an iPhone. PDAParts.com produced the above video to go with a forthcoming DIY screen repair kit for the iPhone. Nonetheless, it's just cool to see what it takes to get one apart, admiring Apple's engineering chops along the way. For those of you worried about the battery, it's also interesting to see what replacing it will take. According to the video it's soldered to the motherboard, so putting in a new one will be quite a bit tougher than on the iPod. Obviously opening your iPhone will void your warranty, so I'd say this is probably more one to watch than to do![via Infinite Loop]
MOTOFONE loses all sense of decency and gets naked
The unboxing and dissecting of gadgets has become so commonplace that we're almost amazed when new and noteworthy devices aren't taken apart and photographed in the nude for all of the tech world to see. Today, Motorola's MOTOFONE joins such greats as the 2G iPod Nano and iRiver Clix, as it becomes our latest inductee into the illustrious "Hall of Splayed." So, if the images of internal components and bare circuit boards are your cup of tea, check out the Flickr gallery of gadget faithful John P., where he puts everything the MOTOFONE has to offer out in the open.[Thanks, John P.]
