Hudson's Hard Working People is coming out in Japan on the 27th of this month, and probably in North America sometime afterward (under a different, fan-selected name!). Dengeki has a few screenshots of everyday fake people going about their working lives, saving up for asteroid repellent so they can save the world. Since we last heard about the game, the concept of having to scrape together money from a series of wacky part-time jobs has become ... a bit more timely! We've seen most of the professions on display here before, but this is our first look at "bodybuilder." Bodybuilding is usually something people get into casually for a bit of quick money, right?%Gallery-29606%

Because there's nothing like heading to work as soon as you get home from work, Hudson is planning on bringing Hard Working People to North America. There's just one thing: it may not actually be called Hard Working People when it gets here. The game's final title is up for debate, or rather, vote; on Hudson's website, you can choose from possible titles like Help Wanted (currently in the lead), the good ol' Hard Working People, and Job Heroes, among others. While this one looks pretty hilarious, we're always a little wary of games that require work (see also: Animal Crossing and more), but when that game is centered around working, we're doubly uncertain. Maybe we shouldn't be translating everything into a waggling mini-game simply because we can. Then again, Hard Working People really does look like Everything Mama, and thus could be promising. The jury, as they say, is still out. Out working.%Gallery-29606%[Via Siliconera]

Finally, Hudson has heard our prayers and crafted a game that's not so much a game as it is work (World of Warcraft not withstanding). Hard Working People draws inspiration for its collection of mini-games not from rabbits farting or ring tosses, but from real life professions like dentist, EMT or ... haunted house crew. That's not particularly impressive, as Japanese companies have horrible ideas for games all the time. No, what's notable is that this one is actually coming to the US. Heck, you can even vote on the name Hudson USA will give its North American counterpart. Why isn't "The Clearest Sign Yet That the Video Game Industry is Imploding" an option?

Hudson launched a site for a previously unannounced Wii game called Hataraku Hito (Working People), whose English name is translated as Hard Working People. It's -- we know, this is traumatic -- a minigame collection. But it's a really cute minigame collection about taking on various part-time jobs. The three jobs revealed on the site so far give an idea of the 50 tasks included in the game: you'll work in a yakitori restaurant, making food and serving beer; you'll harvest vegetables as a farmhand, and you'll even press buttons in response to a list of commands in order to work as an interpreter. Unless we've translated it wrong, which is quite possible, and would be ironic and hilarious.
