According to an Activision Blizzard press release, we won't be seeing more Heidi Klum in ads for upcoming Guitar Hero: Metallica, as the company has revealed a new advertising campaign focusing on college basketball coaches. In an attempt to capitalize on all of this March Madness hoopla, the new ad features four famous college basketball coaches (from left to right: Roy Williams, Rick Pitino, Bob Knight, and Mike "Coach K" Krzyzewski) and their "surprise encounter" with Metallica. As you can tell from the image above, the new ad will continue the Risky Business theme, but includes a surprise ending where we see all all four coaches walking home through the snow, uphill, with no shoes on. Watch it for yourself after the break.

Here's your sexually explicit video of the day. It's Heidi Klum, undressing, and dancing around the living room in her undergarments to promote Activision's Guitar Hero World Tour. Best part, there's no Tony Hawk or Kobe to be found. We think talking about Heidi Klum nearly naked pretty much sells this video and pretty much secures your click towards the break. Go ahead, click towards the break to witness Heidi Klum undressed and shaking her "goods" to sell World Tour.

When we were flipping around the channels and caught our first glimpse at the above Guitar Hero: World Tour commercial, we cringed at just how bad the whole thing was. With Kobe's terrible lip-syncing and A-Rod's inability to look like he has any rhythm, the whole thing came off as very forced to us. Kobe has probably never even heard of Bob Seger. Past the break, you'll find the newest Guitar Hero: World Tour ad, which features Heidi Klum. What do supermodels do when playing Guitar Hero: World Tour? Apparently, they strip then have an epileptic seizure on the couch.%Gallery-23491%

  • Watch Heidi Klum dance in her underwear for ... something

Inspired by everyone doing their civic duty this Election Day, we'd like to announce a bold new initiative called "Share-A-Hit." Here's how it works: We'll be collecting all the traffic we get from the utterly ridiculous video after the break and donating it to less fortunate web pages. Because honestly, we feel too guilty about it to keep the thousands and thousands of hits we'll be getting. ... And we will. So please, share this post with a friend. Because every time you send someone after the break to watch Heidi Klum dancing in her underwear to support Guitar Hero World Tour, you're helping to bring another set of eyeballs to some deserving Small Wonder fanfic site or black Neil Diamond impersonator that truly needs them.Thank you and God bless.[Via GameDaily]

  • Spotting celebs with the iPhone

Obama and Lindsay Lohan are far from the only people rocking the iPhone lately -- a new site called "Coolspotters" claims to track brands and the celebrities that use them, and the iPhone is pretty cool lately. 32 celebrities have been spotted -- everyone from Mike Tyson to Heidi Klum to Rose McGowan (pictured, though that really could be anyone, couldn't it?). In fact, the Apple iPhone is actually the most popular product on the site right now -- one spot above something called the Omnipeace t-shirt (yes, but does it have a multitouch screen?), and two spots above the MacBook Air.Because everyone knows you need a site to tell you that what you own is cool, right? Of course, they are cheating a little bit -- I don't think the fact that Steve Jobs is using something necessarily makes it cool. Otherwise, we'd all have seen celebs toting around Newtons.Still, if seeing celebs use the same product you have is your thing, the iPhone's got you covered there, too. Can't say it influenced my purchase much, but good to see that the rich and famous are catching on to what's been TUAW's favorite tech-cessory for a while.[via Kottke]
