One thing that we're sure will get everyone excited about a new home entertainment computer is HiPe (say: "hype") PC's complete disregard of traditional spelling. Despite its absurd nomenclature, the new eMage-N (um, "imagine" ?), is trying to make waves in other ways too, by being among the first to integrate voice recognition into an HTPC. Powered by the One Voice Technologies' Media Center Communicator software (which you can pick up along with the One Voice Remote for a total of $250), this new MPC comes loaded up with a 1.86GHz Core 2 Duo E6300 processor, 1GB of RAM, WiFi, a Radeon X1600PRO 256MB video card with HDCP-compliant HDMI out, 320GB 7,200rpm hard drive, a dual-layer DVD±RW burner, and 7.1 audio with a S/PDIF optical jack. If you're still jonesing for more hardware, there's an optional Blu-Ray recorder, 200-disc DVD/DVD-RW changer, HD projector, and a 100-inch movie screen to complete your home theater experience. But you didn't think you'd get all that stuff along with this shiny new setup for cheap, did you; actually, you'll be throwing down at least $2,251, and probably a lot more if you want all those nifty options to go with it. Still, we're sure that those who do fork over that coinage for the eMage-N will find it to be 2-TalEE Q-el, d00d. [Via PVRWire]
