Captain's Log, Stardate 64692.8... Hello, computer (and players). The following information has been marked classified and restricted by Starfleet Intelligence; any leaks will not be tolerated -- eh, forget it! Welcome to MassivelyLeaks! As you may or may not know, I had an exclusive opportunity to visit Cryptic Studios in Los Gatos, California last month. Since I'm arguably one of Star Trek Online's biggest fanboys, this was a dream come true (/e squeal), and I am still in shock that I was in the very cubicles where the game is made. Tucked away in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains, Los Gatos is a small town in Santa Clara County (better known as Silicon Valley), just southwest of San Jose. It is hard to believe that the entire Star Trek universe is currently one of its residents. But it is -- I've seen it with my own eyes, and I am excited to share my experience with you. Ensign, warp 10! Let's get down to some cryptic business and invade the hive... %Gallery-118647%

Over the past three years, we've seen plenty of faces come and go through the doors of Massively. I can honestly say that I'm proud of the current team and it's been a pleasure working with such a diverse crowd since I started. Some former writers went on to work in the industry itself, either on the community or development side of things. We wanted to spotlight those Massively alumni with this article detailing their accomplishments. As an added bonus, a few of the former staffers answered some questions regarding their new gig. Follow along for more!

Captain's Log, Supplemental, Stardate 64684.5... As you all know, we here at Massively are dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on all the latest MMO news as well as entertaining you to your wits' end. Over the past year, our Star Trek Online coverage has been phenomenal, including the introduction of our weekly column, Captain's Log. As I mentioned in my first entry, I am honored to be a part of the team and to bring STO out of the dark recesses of space and onto your (computer, iWhatever, etc.) screens. When the game first launched, the original Community Guide to STO came to fruition as well -- since then, many things have changed, so it is time for an update. Beyond the jump, you will find an ever-evolving list of podcasts, fansites, dev blogs, Twitter accounts, and more. As things further change, I will be updating this guide, so keep it bookmarked! Got a new STO podcast you want everyone to hear? Working on a fansite for the community? Found something that everyone else should know? Let me know by sending the info in to brandon@massively.com. Ensign, warp 10! Let's get these players updated on their resources...

Hey we know this new Star Trek Online guy. No really, we swear -- we've got proof and everything! You know, we don't normally talk about these things but since we taught Joe so much in his short time with here, we feel like it's important to share. It wouldn't be going too far to say that because of us here at Massively, Joe was able to master a rare form of the martial arts known as Kung-Blogging-Jeet-Jistu-Do. So if you're ever wondering why his writing is so deadly and sharp, now you know. Also, if you ever see him shooting lasers out of his eyes, he learned that one from us, too.Okay, fine. In actuality, Joe's a really great guy and we know he'll make a wonderful online community representative for Star Trek Online. There are no ridiculous expectations or assumptions in our minds, either. Once he's gained untold success and riches, we'll even wait patiently for our golden toilet seat covers to come in the mail.
