In North America, the only way to get the Lilac PSP is in a bundle with Hannah Montana, an offer promoted by the infamous "OMG Lilac PSP" ad. In Korea, you still have to buy a bundle to get it, but the game included is ... Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny. The presence of a large portrait of Ivy on the top of the box suggests that the lilac PSP is intended to match Ivy's costume. Either that or Hannah Montana is confirmed as a playable character in Soul Calibur. It's interesting that Sony Computer Entertainment Korea doesn't seem to be operating under the notion that the Lilac system is just for "girlz." The Soul Calibur PSP Lilac Purple Pack will be out August 28 for 285,000 won ($231).

Tired of PSP colors yet? Sony doesn't think you are -- and it also thinks you're a lady, because it's squarely targeting the new Lilac PSP at girl gamers. Tween girls, to be specific: the Lilac will debut as part of a $199 Hannah Montana Entertainment Pack that features young Miley's PSP game, a UMD with a few HM episodes, a 2GB memory stick, and some fun stickers. What do the less overstimulated among us get? An Assassin's Creed Entertainment Pack that'll launch with Altair's PSP debut later this year and "other content that will announced later." Awesome, thanks for loving us too, Sony.[Via Joystiq]

The bundle comes with a Hannah Montana rhythm game, a UMD of episodes from the series, a 2 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo, and some stickers! In addition, Ubisoft's Petz line is headed to PSP in North America later this year, allowing players to "create and care for cute, furry pets chosen from many different breeds of dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, dolphins, tigers and bunnies." The likely first release: GameStop shows Petz Saddle Club coming this September. This series may help enhance young players' impressions of the PSP, by reminding them of the Nintendo DS.
