American audiences will be able to enjoy the PSP enhanced version of Disgaea 2 later this year. However, gamers in Japan are already getting ready for some free (and paid) DLC content for the game. As usual, Nippon Ichi is preparing post-release DLC. The most surprising addition to Disgaea 2 comes through a collaboration with Sony: Mainichi Issho's Toro and Kuro can both be added to the game. The two Sony mascots are relatively unknown here in the States, but the felines are quite beloved by players on the other side of the pond. The two cats will be ready to hand special items to players, so keep an eye out for them! It would be nice if NIS America decided to include this DLC content as part of the retail release in the States. However, considering the DLC for Disgaea 3, that's unlikely. That cat from Mainichi Issho is showing up everywhere nowadays! In addition to making an appearance as a costume for the Japanese version of LittleBigPlanet, Sony's favorite kitty cat Toro is also getting a 600 yen (about $6 USD) game that crosses over with Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds (Minna no Golf 5 in Japan). Titled Minnya no Putter Golf, the add-on stars Jasmine and Toro in a tee-off in a golf course within the Mainichi Issho game. This looks and sounds like something that will stay strictly Japan-only.Wanna know how this crossover works out? Check out the video after the break:

Looks like even free games and applications can earn you Trophies. Mainichi Issyo, a free Japanese-only lifestyle program, is being patched today to include Trophies. To get the program, you must have a Japanese PSN account and must be able to read Japanese. View Trophy List | Visit Trophy Portal

Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. has announced that it is integrating the YouTube API to allow developers to add video uploading to their titles. The first game to utilize the new feature is Mainichi Issho, a free Japanese PSN title that debuted in November 2006. As seen in the screenshot above, you will now be able to upload in-game video to YouTube for sharing from inside the game.No other title has been announced to use the YouTube API, either for a new title or updating an exiting game. Our dream? YouTube uploads with LittleBigPlanet. It seems like a no-brainer.
