If your morning's been running low on a little thing called awesomeness, hurry past the break and gorge yourself on the stuff in the embedded videos. For the more patient among you, we'll set the scene. A young chap by the name of Ryan has repurposed an old mini-fridge from his college days into a beer-firing drone, which can accept instructions on beer brand, temperature, and destination, before launching it at the target with a force of 50psi. An embedded webcam assists the iPhone user in aiming the throws, while it's also said to record every toss and tweet it out for posterity as well. If this thing could slice bread, we'd probably offer to marry it.

  • DIY mini-fridge is just big enough for a can of soda, just odd enough to scare the FBI

Full-sized refrigerators are awfully easy to come by. Your average yard sale has one keg-sized example sitting in the corner (probably with the door removed), but what if you need something smaller? That's when you turn to instructables and learn how to put together this peltier-powered mini fridge. It has a trio of coolers (under)powered by a 55 watt, 5 volt power supply sprouting enough exposed transistors, wires, and fans to make it all look like something the Department of Homeland Security warned you about. It'll drop a can of soda down to a perfectly frosty 46F, but sadly nobody bothered to mention exactly how long that process takes -- hopefully a little less time than was required to stick the thing together with expanding foam. The calls for the 'everyman' setup have been heard, and this week, Mneth has sent in his submission to share with all of us. There's a lot of old-school comfort in this setup -- which is a lot closer to my setup, at least. (as a matter of fact, I think I had that same chair before!) While I'm all for the picture that is worth a thousand words, I much prefer to give people a chance to tell us about the things that make their WoWspace unique. As such, check out some words from Mneth about his Reader WoWspace after the jump!
