Last fall, Skype took the emoji and sticker craze and ran with it, introducing a new animated emoticon the company simply called the "Moji." It's basically an animation coupled with an audio clip, and they launched with big content properties like The Muppets and Jurassic Park. Now, to go along with Valentine's day, Skype has a new set of 10 Moji it designed to convey the feelings of the holiday in a bunch of silly / cute ways.

Skype announced a new feature for its chat and messaging services on Tuesday that will allow users to incorporate short, Gif-like video clips into their conversations. The company is calling these new visual hybrids "Mojis" (le sigh). Just as Gmail now allows users to drop Giphy Gifs directly into emails, Skype now allows users to browse and select a moji by tapping an in-chat emoticon button. The new feature currently includes clips from Despicable Me, Bridesmaids, Pitch Perfect, Jurassic Park, The Muppets and other intellectual properties. There's no word on whether users will be able to upload their own clips or whether the service is limited to participating corporate content partners. The feature begins rolling out to users running the latest app version on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS today.

No, it's not another training game. Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan (Word Puzzle Mojipittan) is a Scrabble-style board game from Bandai Namco in which players use characters from the Japanese hiragana syllabary to spell words. Therefore, it's really, really, really hard to play if you don't know a load of Japanese words, and basically impossible if you can't read hiragana. Mojipittan has appeared on other platforms before, but as the Shockwave demo says, "The stylus makes it simple!" We suggest giving the demo a shot and seeing if you're up for some wordplay. The bouncy music and adorable tile mascots may convince you to enroll in Japanese classes.[Via GAME Watch]
