Not much to talk about this week.  No new games, but we continue to keep the faith.  However, those of you that bought you PSP to watch chick flicks are in luck--just one new UMD this week, Date Movie. It's not really a chick flick, it's more of a raunchy comedy, so you may actually enjoy this one. I'll bring the popcorn--not! PSP UMD Releases Date Movie PSP Game Releases No new game releases this week As always, availability is subject to manufacturer delivery.

The cold blooded killer, Agent 47, is back and this time he hits America. Sounds like a real thriller, which is good since it's all we've got this week, fanboys. Let your inner Tony Soprano out for a bit. Xbox 360 Releases Hitman: Blood Money Some more good games are headed our way in the coming weeks. As always, availability is subject to manufacturer delivery.

A couple of new games this week for the DS Fanboys, but unless you are a 6-year-old (and the probability is high), you are only going to be interested in one: Scurge: Hive.  If you are up for the role of  "bounty hunter," check this game out and let us know what you think. Two new Xbox 360 games this week! Sorta. Call of Duty 2: Game of the Year Edition is, of course, the further milking of the Xbox 360's best FPS. Is it me, or does it seem too early to have a game of the year edition of anything for the Xbox 360?  We also have Rockstar Games' Table Tennis which claims to "recreate the tension of professional table tennis." Whew! My palms are already sweating. Xbox 360 Releases Call of Duty 2: Game of the Year Edition Rockstar Games Table Tennis As always, availability is subject to manufacturer delivery.

The wait is over!  We finally have some new PSP game releases and a few of these are worth talking about.  Which is a good thing, because we are not going to want to talk about this week's UMD releases. PSP Game Releases FIFA World Cup 2006 Field Commander Lemmings Monster Hunter Freedom Puzzle Challenge: Crosswords & More! PSP UMD Releases Donnie Darko Ikki-Tousen, Vol. 1: Legendary Fighter The Boondock Saints Outwit the enemy at every turn.  Fate of the country's destiny in your hands.  Sound exciting? Check out Field Commander, that's my pick of the week.  But, if you want something lighter, who can resist a good crossword? As always, availability is subject to manufacturer delivery.

Anyone interested in the success of online titles may do well to watch Cake Mania, a downloadable puzzle game set in a bakery. Developer eGames, Inc has partnered with Sandlot Games to bring this online game to retail outlets.Apparently spurred on by its online popularity, the boxed version will feature new levels. Lars Batista of eGames claims that Cake Mania "strikes the perfect balance" between "fun and educational" -- however, we doubt running a bakery is much like the clean-cut cartoony world of this game.

Only one new Xbox 360 release this week (which doesn't make it a bad week!), but it's a good one to pick up as we await the big screen release of X-Men: The Last Stand.  The game allows us to fully command the powers of our favorite X-Men (We know you want to play as Kitty Pride. It's ok, really). Hopefully the game will be better than we're hearing the movie is.  We'll be keeping our fingers crossed for both. There are a couple of new games for the DS fanboys this week, but there's only one that everyone's talking about.  In a word: Mario! After 20 years, we still love him (I guess we still love them if you include his lesser brother, Luigi).  DS Releases New Super Mario Bros. X-Men: The Official Game Gameboy Advance Backyard Baseball 2007 Tringo X-Men: The Official Game As always, availability is subject to manufacturer delivery.

A couple of new UMDs this week.  Yawn. Those of you that grew up in the 80s will enjoy rocking to thirty-eight classic tunes on the Journey UMD.  And, for the horror flick fans, check out When a Stranger Calls.  Have you checked the children?  Unfortunately, no game releases this week, but we should be seeing several new games next week. • First looks at Viva Pinata

After the Microsoft press briefing today, we managed to get a demonstration of Viva Piñata, the upcoming 360 title from Microsoft and Rare. At first glance the game seems extremely colourful and inviting; the game is based around a single garden, which starts as a desolated area.By building up the garden and its ecosystem (of piñata creatures), more and more piñatas are attracted from nearby gardens to live in the player's -- the first piñata that will venture in is a worm, which needs nothing but some soil to flourish, but more demanding creatures come along later. By balancing all their requirements -- some creatures will want to eat each other, for example -- the player can create a happy environment. The game seems very much like a cross between Animal Crossing and traditional God-game titles like Dungeon Keeper. Although it looks to have immediate appeal to children and younger players, it's likely to reach out to Sims fans too -- possibly even the elusive female demographic. We'll have more on the title during E3.

Quite a selection of new UMDs this week for you movie fans.  There really is something here for everyone.  Personally, I'll be picking up my copy of X-Men and X-2.  But, who can resist the King of Pop: Thriller, Billie Jean, Beat It -- you know you love it. Now for the gamers, your sole option is NBA Ballers: Rebound.  The game touts player customization and allows you to live like an NBA superstar.  Who doesn't want to buy a cool crib? PSP UMD Releases Family Guy: The Freakin Sweet Collection Goodfellas Grandma's Boy Michael Jackson: The Number Ones X-Men X-2: X-Men United PSP Game Releases NBA Ballers: Rebound As always, availability is subject to manufacturer delivery.

From Software's RPG title [eM] -eNCHANT arM-, currently released in Japan, will be making its American and European debut this summer under the title Enchanted Arms. It's the first Japanese RPG to appear on the Xbox 360, and by the time it's released, Oblivion fans may well be looking for a new RPG to play.IGN has previewed the game, describing it as an "eccentric, epic title rich with character, story, and an evolving combat system". While its review scores in Japan have been reasonably low, the quirky nature of Enchanted Arms may increase its worldwide appeal, paving the way for more Japanese titles to travel abroad.
