Well, well, well, if it isn't Toshiba Tuesday. Yes, we've got a ton of new laptops to tell you about, so let's get started. First up are updates to the U205 "ultra-portable" line (pictured) -- the U205-S5034 (estimated at $1,300) sports a swanky 1.6 GHz Core 2 Duo T5200 proc, 1GB of RAM, a 100GB hard drive, whereas its older bro, the -S5044 (estimated at $1,600) comes with a 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo T7200 chip, 2GB of RAM, and a 100GB hard drive. Both come with a double-layer DVD burner, WiFi, and the ever-popular biometric fingerprint reader. Next up is the latest model in Toshi's M115 line: the M115-S3144, which includes 2GB of RAM, a 120GB hard drive, a double layer DVD burner, WiFi, four USB ports, FireWire, a 5-in-1 card reader, VGA and S-Video out and should hit the streets for an estimated $1,250. Finally, Toshiba has new upgrades to the P105 line, which include the -S6134, -S6124, -S6114 and -S6104 models. The whole line packs the Merom love, a hefty 17-inch screen, dual-layer DVD burner, 4 USB ports, VGA and S-Video out, and FireWire. Individually the models differ in RAM configurations, hard drive capacities, and some even have USB TV tuners so you can watch the local news from your neighborhood-friendly WiFi café. As you might expect, prices similarly range from $1250 to $1550. Now all of this begs the question: Toshiba, can we expect the same from you on a future Tuesday?Read - U205Read - M115Read - P105

  • More Merom from Toshiba, the Satellite P105-S9722

You know what they say: if you've seen one "onyx blue metallic" laptop, you've seen them all, but we thought we'd run this new P105-S9722 by you just in case that's not entirely accurate. The new 17-inch laptop is mainly a Core 2 Duo bump from its Core Duo P105 predecessors, but that's not the only spec getting some love here. The laptop's "media port" can now be configured with S/PDIF or DVI-D output, along with the existing options of a 5-in-1 card reader or instant play button. Otherwise, things remain the same, though a 2.0GHz T7200 processor is nothing to scoff at. You should be able to pick up one of these now for around $2,000 with all the trimmings, including Bluetooth 2.0, 2GB of RAM, 256MB GeForce Go 7900 GS graphics and Windows XP Professional. Not bad at all.[Via Laptoping]

Toshiba's got more notebooks in store for us today than just the R25 convertible and U205 ultra-portable we spotted earlier; nine more in fact, as the 14.1-inch M105, 15.4-inch A105, and 17-inch P105 Satellites have all been upgraded with three new configurations each. Focused on multimedia and gaming, the new P105 configs (pictured) -- the $1,199 S6024, $1,499 S6084, and $1,999 S9312 -- offer several compelling features, highlighted by Core Duo processors throughout the line, a nVidia GeForce Go 7900 GS graphics chip in the S6084, and an external USB tuner in the Windows Media Center Edition-powered S9312. The A105 also gets three fancy new looks, all featuring 5,400RPM hard drives, 533MHz DDR2 RAM, and integrated graphics: the $700 S2141 (1.46GHz Celeron M, 512MB of RAM, 80GB HDD), $999 S4074 (1.6GHz Core Duo T2050, 512MB RAM, 120GB storage, dual-layer DVD burner, Media Center Edition 2005), and $1,349 S4134 (same as the S4074 except for a 1.66GHz T2400 and 2GB of RAM). Rounding out the upgrades are S1021, S3041, and S3064 versions of the M105, which sport either Celeron M, Core Solo, or Core Duo processors, between 512MB and 1GB of RAM, 80GB or 120GB hard drives, and either a combo drive or DVD burner -- and are priced between $650 and $1,199. All nine new models are available immediately either directly from Toshiba or from your friendly neighborhood PC retailer.Read- P105Read- A105Read- M105
