Panasonic shows off PT-AE1000U 1080p LCD projector
Nothing like Panasonic's new 1080p 11,000:1 contrast ratio LCD projector to brighten up our day. The company is showing the PT-AE1000U at a pre-CES preview, although we already got a look at this and its 720p cousin, the AX100U, at CEDIA recently. It's still got a Sony Pearl-beating 1,100 ANSI lumens of brightness, 14-bit color correction and C2Fine LCD panels for better blacks. The MSRP is set at $5,999 and units should be available later this month.
