    Amazon released 'The Boys' season two finale a few hours early

    What’s better for streaming — a full-season release that you can binge immediately, or a weekly episode drip feed that draws things out for a few months? Amazon and Netflix have been switching things up with their original content releases lately, and Amazon chose the latter strategy for season two of its anti-super hero series The Boys. The season finale episode was scheduled for release at midnight PT tonight, but instead the streamer pulled a Jack Ryan (and The Expanse) and posted it a few hours early.

    The Guild has come to the end of season 3, and it's all come down to this. Codex is facing off what's left of the Axis of Anarchy, Riley has appeared to ruin Zaboo's game, and all of the other issues this season come to a head as the showdown reaches its conclusion. And being that this is the season finale, there's a few surprises in the mix as well, and a shocker of a finish. You can watch the show over on MSN (which is now calling itself Bing), on the Xbox Live and Zune marketplaces, or right after the break below. The gang has also released the final gag reel of the season, with outtakes and behind-the-scenes footage from the last three episodes. Lots of fun stuff in there as well, though definitely be sure to finish the season first -- as you might expect, there's some spoilers. And I'm sure the gag reels, and lots of other special footage, will end up on the eventual DVD release for this season. We'll let you know about that, and season four, when we hear about it.     It's time for Sam & Max to go to hell and bargain for Bosco's soul. Of course, this being Sam & Max, hell isn't exactly what you would. Above you'll see the trailer for the last episode, What's new Beelzebub?, the grand finale of dynamic duo's second episodic season.The episode will be available April 10th on GameTap and through other outlets the following day. No announcement yet on a Season Three for the dog detective and his insane rabbity-thing partner, but we wouldn't worry about that if we were you.

    What we're watching: Just making sure everyone is aware, two of our high definition mainstays, My Name is Earl and The Office are doing things a bit differently tonight for their season finales. Instead of slotting a rerun in the place of the now-departed Four Kings, Will & Grace, Earl and Office will all be 40 minutes long, shifting the start time earlier by ten minutes for the latter two. Please adjust your DVRs -- and your lives -- accordingly.Also ending their season tonight are Smallville, Everybody Hates Chris, Love Inc., Eve and Cuts.Our traditional high-def listings continue below.
