AMC buys the owner of the anime streaming service Hidive
AMC Networks has acquired anime distributor Sentai. Financial terms of the deal haven’t been disclosed, but the purchase includes Sentai’s Hidive streaming service.
Persona 4 anime coming to North America
Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena won't be the only non-RPG way to experience that game's demon-filled, super-stylish world. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the anime series Persona 4: The Animation for North American release, with digital distribution beginning "soon," and a DVD and Blu-Ray release set for next year. It premieres in Japan on October 6. Persona 4: The Animation covers the events of the game in a distinctly less interactive format. It even features the same art director and composer, Shigenori Soejima and Shoji Meguro, as the game.
