Today's update over at the dojo provides us with a look at Yoshi's Final Smash maneuver: Super Dragon. Here, Yoshi grows the giant wings you see above and can fly about the battlefield, spitting out a jet of fire. He can also, as you, again, see above, spit out fireballs. It only lasts for short time, however, as Yoshi then loses his wings and reverts back to his normal form.%Gallery-3347%

Hey, look, it's a new character! Diddy Kong supposedly won't have the same kind of moves as Donkey Kong, as he's described as having "whimsical fighting moves while wielding both his Rocketbarrel Boost and Peanut Pop Gun!" Sounds great to us, because we love hearing about new characters in the game.%Gallery-3347%

Yesterday, we failed to update you all on the inclusion of Link's special moves at the dojo. Nothing new here, as Link still rocks a boomerang (Gale Force, to be exact) and his Spin Attack. He even has a Clawshot now, too. And, of course, he still has his bow and bombs. All in all, looks like Link fans will be used to this Link.Today's update, however, has some new tidbits of info for you to chew on. It reveals to us the Subspace Army, which is builds on the previous update involving the new Adventure mode in the game. These enemies are ruled by the Ancient Minister, who is so conveniently pictured above. He comes and takes world back into subspace with him.Courtesy of YouTube, you can check out the latest trailer showing off these goons past the post break.%Gallery-3347%Read - Link's special movesRead - Subspace Army

And our last dojo update for the week reveals none other than the princess of Mushroom Kingdom. Peach will return with many of her same moves in tact, allowing her to still utilize her Toad Defense maneuver and parasol during battle. She does look a lot better, though, as there is a lot more detail to her character design in Brawl.%Gallery-3347%

And the meaningful updates just keep on coming over at the Smash Bros. Brawl dojo. Today's update reveals Zero Suit Samus' up special move, which allows her to use her Plasma Whip to latch on the edge of the level, allowing her to climb back on up and into the battle. The update also hints at other characters being able to perform this move, causing us to think that either Samus can lose her Plasma Whip to another character or there will be a similar in-game weapon.%Gallery-3347%

In a rather substantial update over at the dojo today, a new character has been revealed in the Pokemon Trainer above. As a kind of "three for the price of one" character, using him means using his three little buddies you see above. See, the Pokemon Trainer never actually gets into the fight himself, instead pulling the puppet strings of his Pokemon from the sidelines of battle.%Gallery-3347%Read - Pokemon TrainerRead - The art of changing Pokemon[Thanks to everyone that sent this in!]

Today over at the dojo, we get a glimpse at a new item: the Franklin Badge. When this badge is picked up and worn, the player is protected from projectiles. As is shown when Zero Suit Samus fires at Donkey Kong while he is wearing the badge, all the bullets just bounce off. We imagine the badge will be the great equilizer in one-on-one matches against a certain incredibly cheap character.%Gallery-3347%

Following the trend of revealing other characters' Final Smash maneuver, today unveils Pit's devastating move. Dubbed Palutena's Army, the move is what you might exact. Literally, Pit calls on his army, as they swoop in and attack all of his foes. It's an interesting Final Smash that we can't wait to see in action.%Gallery-3347%

  • Dojo update: Smoke Ball and Ike's special moves

Yesterday's dojo update involved the unveiling of the Smoke Ball. A rather pointless accessory that doesn't do any damage, it lays down a thick smoke, making it hard for all of the players to see. Considering the point of the game is to utterly crush your opponents, we don't take kindly to items that get in the way of that.Today's dojo update is a bit more substantial, though. It reveals to us a number of Ike's special moves. His main move, Aether, allows him to toss his sword into and opponent, thrusting both into the air, jumping up after them and finally coming back down to finish the opponent off with a powerful over-head slash. His other move, Eruption, is pictured above and can be charged.%Gallery-3347%Read - Smoke BallRead - Ike's special moves

  • Today's best re-created video: Smash Bros. Retro

The Smash Bros. Brawl fan-made videos keep getting better, like this trailer made by Carlos Maulén and posted by YouTube user spiderfalcox. The segment follows the style and soundtrack of the original Smash Bros. trailer but replaces the video track with retro sprites. The result is a cool mash-up of the characters, generally from the games in which they first appeared. While this was posted about two months ago, it's new to us and certainly worth a look if you missed it then. It's just like mid-Summer TV.[Thanks, Kye]

  • Introducing a new game type in Smash Bros.

Nintendo is apparently fleshing out Adventure Mode with some stuff, as they reveal The Subspace Emissary. Having to deal with that whole "This World" bit of confusion we touched on a few weeks back, it's a "complete side-scrolling action game. It's storyline isn't overwrought-it's hastened along by a bunch of quick movies." So, where the previous games have been lauded for their incredible multiplayer, this time around they're trying to provide a better single-player experience, as well.Head past the break for a trailer of the new update (including a look at Peach).

  • Two "new" characters for Smash Bros.

In an interview with Game Informer about The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma casually let slip that Ganondorf and Sheik would be appearing in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. And we have to say it-- we prefer the casual, matter-of-fact "revelation" of obvious information to seeing old characters treated like a big deal in the Dojo. When asked about his involvement with Zelda characters' representations in Brawl, Aonuma indicated that his team worked closely with Masahiro Sakurai's team. He said that his team sent the initial character designs over, and then Sora tweaked them to fit Smash Bros.' style. Note to Sora: there is still plenty of time to implement Tingle. Or, if not Tingle, Old Man.

The latest update over at the dojo reveals a new stage to fight on. Dubbed Castle Siege, the stage has combatants duking it out while, well ... while the castle is being sieged. After a bit of fighting, the castle crumbles and all of the fighters are thrust inside the castle. But, it doesn't stop there, as eventually the castle will give out entirely, sending all of the fighters who are still in the match into an underground area that is to be shown later.Given our love of the Hyrule stage in Smash Bros. Melee, we're naturally excited about this stage.%Gallery-3347%

We're digging all of the Animal Crossing love in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. First, we get the opportunity to catch live performances from K.K. Slider and now this item is revealed to be included in the game. Now, all we'd need is Tom Nook as a playable character and we'd be set for life.Of course, we don't have to tell you Animal Crossing fans what this item is or what it does, so just be sure to check out images of it in action in our gallery below.%Gallery-3347%

Today's Dojo update reveals the Footstool Jump technique. Basically, it's possible for players to use their enemies as a sort of springboard now, provided that the jumping player has impeccable timing. And, with Smash Bros. often putting us on the edge of levels, fighting our enemies, we imagine we'll have the opportunity to deny many a hopeful player who've been recently knocked off the side of said level and trying to jump back on, with this maneuver. It looks as if once you squish your opponent, they'll be stunned, resulting in an instant death for them and a fond memory for you, should our described scenario become a reality for yourself. You can see some more images of the maneuver being demonstrated in our gallery below.%Gallery-3347%

With an Animal Crossing feel, the stage will seem familiar to all who've spent many an hour fishing in streams, digging for fossils and attending live performances of one K. K. Slider. Brawl on Saturday nights, as well!Check out some images of the new stage in our gallery below.%Gallery-3347%[Thanks to everyone that sent this in!]
