DS Fanboy contest: Sumo Omni honorable mentions
The race for the massive Sumo Omni is over, and the lucky winner will soon be snuggled up in his very own beanbag chair. It was a hard won victory, and being that it was such a tough call to pick the winner, we thought we might share a few of the also-rans, those entries we felt deserved at least an honorable mention. The time has come to announce the winners of the Sumo Omni contest that challenged readers to provide something else that could also be a Sumo Omni (besides a beanbag chair. We received a wide range of responses, from the cheeky fellow who suggested a link to the now-defunct OMNI magazine an appropriate entry to the winners we're about to reveal. Reminder: win that Sumo Omni
There's less than a week left to submit your contest entries for the Sumo Omni beanbag chair (or the DS buttons offered as second prize!), so get those entries in. Your mission: design some other product named Sumo Omni that is absolutely not a beanbag chair, and advertise it to us. Make a poster, a magazine ad, a jingle for a commercial. Your imagination is the only limit (that, and the fact that we don't want pr0n). Send your subs to dsfanboy [dot] contests [at] gmail [dot] com with the subject Sumo Omni Contest. One entry per person only, and this is not limited to only the United States. So get to work!
