Like Time Crisis 4 before it, the PS3 version of Time Crisis: Razing Storm features a fully controllable not-on-rails FPS mode. Hopefully, it won't be as bare-bones and poorly thought out as its last incarnation. This video should give you a good idea what it's all about.

There are some wonderful throw-backs to classic coin-op games in this Freddie Wong short film, Time Crisis. While the two heroes are a bit more agile than typical on-rail protagonists, they're also prone to some traditional coin-op curses. "Got a quarter?" Be warned, the film features realistic gun violence and some blood.

Who knew the PlayStation Move controllers had such powerful rumble motors? Time Crisis returns to PS3, this time with support for Sony's new motion controller. (Although, you can still use a Guncon!) More so than previous Time Crisis games, Razing Storm is about causing as much destruction as possible. Instead of wielding a handgun, your characters are armed with machine guns -- giving the Move's rumble motors a thorough workout. The gameplay will be largely familiar to anyone that's played an on-rails shooter before. You duck to dodge and reload and, in typical Time Crisis fashion, a countdown appears around enemies that are getting ready to shoot. However, the flow of the gameplay has drastically changed, as the player is far more powerful than any previous Time Crisis protagonist. Equipped with a machine gun, you'll be able to tear through the environment, bursting through cover. It makes it quite easy to mow down the dozens of enemies that are rushing at you on the screen. "Are those zombies?," I asked a Namco Bandai representative. "No, those are terrorists," they responded. %Gallery-97751%

During Sony's E3 keynote, a new Time Crisis game was revealed in Time Crisis: Razing Storm. As you can see in the trailer past the break, Razing Storm features a lot of the same stuff you've come to expect from the franchise: you shoot dudes and you shoot furniture. Frankly, we think there are better ways to evict tenants and remodel homes, but maybe that's just us. The game's first trailer also takes time to highlight its PlayStation Move support, eight player online functionality and two included extras: Time Crisis 4 and Deadstorm Pirates. Shoot your way past the break and check it all out!
