Ultimategamechair.com is now accepting pre-orders for -- what else -- the "Ultimate Game Chair." The Raptor model (pictured; $299) features 12 vibration motors with multiple massage settings, surround sound support with built-in volume control and adjustable speakers, beverage and remote holders, stain resistant fabric, pullout storage compartment, adjustable "ground effects lighting" (huh?), adjustable neck rest, and folding storage design. Sounds "ultimate," but what makes this a butt rest for "games?"The Raptor, with a few accessories attached, is compatible with PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and PC games, allowing occupants to plug their controllers directly into the chair and sync gameplay with the Raptor's sound and motor functions. Unfortunately, the Ultimate Game Chair doesn't like to make nice with your Xbox 360 (audio-compatibility only). If you were hoping to couple this baby with the other luxury item you pre-ordered yesterday, save your money. The website makes no mention of PlayStation 3 -- or Wii -- support.[Via OhGizmo!]
