It's been a while since we've run Part of Your Guild, as pointed out by video requester Lar Gand. (I feel like i know that name form somewhere.) It's been a long time since we've heard from World of Filkcraft, who always managed to combine the World of Warcraft with both talented singing and a wry sense of humor. So if you're not sure whether to accept a new applicant, remember... they may simply be longing to be Part of Your Guild. Interested in the wide world of machinima? I've Been Everywhere is a cover of Johnny Cash's original song by World of Filkcraft. Even if you don't dig the video itself, then hopefully you'll certainly enjoy the song. World of Filkcraft has done a great job of translating Cash's litany of travel to Azeroth. The song and video are both a little dated, which is no surprise since it was created long before Cataclysm was released. Still, being a sucker for good filk, I couldn't help but feature it again. You can also pick up the audio track from the creator for free, which makes the whole thing even better. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We've seen It's the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine) by R.E.M. used for Cataclysm trailers more than once. The song obviously lends itself to this use, considering how it heralds the end of everything we've known. We're now a month into the new expansion, and it's a great time to look at how we all feel fine. This video, The End of the World As We Know It, was created by World of Filkcraft. I think it's actually my favorite video of its kind. This isn't because the video itself is groundbreaking, although it's a great backdrop to the song, but because I enjoyed their rendering of the song so much. Maybe I'm just a filk fan, but I like the way the creators put the music together. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch!
