BT's WiFi cellphone

BT has had a Vonage-like Voice over IP telephone service called Broadband Voice out for a little while now, and while we don't have a huge amount of confidence in a big bloated company like them being ahead of the curve, they are making some noise about introducing a new cellphone with built-in WiFi next year that'll be able to make VoIP calls from any hotspot and that'll be able to automatically switch between cellular and WiFi networks. Let's just hope it's a little less hobbled than Motorola's CN620 WiFi phone, which most people can't use because they decided to make it only work with special proprietary WiFi equipment.
