They've been showing off different prototypes for almost a year now, but Samsung's become the third manufacturer
after Sony and Panasonic to introduce a Blu-ray disc recorder. Doesn't look like the BD-R1000 will be sold over here
anytime soon, but then again, there have been some questions in the past about whether Samsung's first generation of
Blu-ray disc recorders would be able to play pre-recorded
Blu-ray discs (which should arrive later next year), so maybe that's for the best, ya know?
