Flexible solar panels may soon be in clothing

Flexible Solar Panels

A three-nation European Union research project called H-Alpha Solar have developed solar panels that are thin and flexible enough to be sewn into clothing and other textiles. While they're not as efficient as leading-edge solar panels, they can apparently recharge a cellphone while you're walking or provide light in a tent that's been charging all day. Unless they can be made more concealable than what's seen in the photo, however, you're not likely going to want to wear them in public. But how about a laptop bag made of them that recharges everything inside?
