The next 5GB player, the DiBoom
You know, the only way all these crazy Korean, Chinese, and Japanese players are ever going to stand a chance is by coming up with some branding that isn't mooching off of someone else's success, or naming their product with some oblique arcane naming schema. The DiBoom DB-MP3-0210 (ahem!) comes equipped with a 2 or 5GB drive, OLED display, voice recording, FM radio, line-in, integrated li-ion battery, English-Chinese dictionary (uh, yeah), and is USB 2.0 mass-storage compatible. We won't get our hopes up about this thing making the long trip over the Pacific, though, not that we ever do.
