Actually, there aren't WiFi drivers hidden in the Treo 650
Oh, so those WiFi SD card drivers that master hacker
Shadowmite claimed he found in
the GSM version of the Treo 650? Um, that was sort of
completely wrong. Turns out that the master was a tiny bit off his game; those drivers he thought he'd found sitting in
an unused location of the Treo 650's memory with the first character of the filenames removed were actually files left
over from the drivers he had installed on his SD card. Though big ups to him for owning up to the mistake.
[Thanks, Roland]

Hmmmm? Could Palm and Cingular pressure the mighty Shadowmite into making such a mistake?
Some stuff I heard kicked around for the past week.
I hope we're not losing the mighty Shadowmite to the suits!

This shadowmite person is never going to have the palm, or any other companies concent to create drivers of any kind based on all of the treo's his hacks have already f**ked up. If he were so good with his developments, he would work for palm. Hobbies are great shadowguy, but you really should keep those ROMs to yourself. No offence.
