The amazing, ridiculously expensive X-Keys Stick

Now the X-Keys Stick looks like a perfectly useful device, doesn't it? It's just 16 programmable keys that can record strings of button presses of up to 900 characters long (like, howsabout up up down down left right left right B A B A start?), as well as mouse and gamepad functions. What we want to know is: what's the deal with the price, because it's going for £79.95 (that's over $150US)? Because we have to say, there're a whole lot of easily programmable keyboards for a lot less than that.
