The Orbe kinesthetic synthesizer

Orbe

So we're basically thinking of the Orbe as a sort of cuddly theremin for hippies. It was designed by London-based interaction designers Amjad Chaudry and Vikesh Bhatt as a harmless kinesthetic synth for group musical improvisation — but we can all see the thing reeks of patchouli before it even steps out of the Mystery Van. There are no visible iconic or textual references to distract you from the sheer sensation of, like, total audio bliss with the four other players, dude. Just hug one of the globes, press its one button, move it up and down, and feel the inner soundscape vibrations of your group's collective consciousness move your soul, man. Or whatever.
