Samsung i730 gets closer and closer

Verizon Samsung i730

They don't list a release date, only that it will "soon be certified" on their network, but Verizon Wireless has posted up a teaser page for the Samsung i730, that new EV-DO Pocket PC Phone we've had our eye on since November. The specs on this thing are no secret—slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Windows Mobile 2003 SE (not Windows Mobile 5.0), 64MB of RAM, an SDIO expansion card slot, and Bluetooth—but note how the i730's built-in WiFi is conspicuously absent from that list. Either Verizon doesn't see the need to play that up that feature (which makes zero sense, since built-in WiFi is a big selling point for a lot of people) or they've convinced Samsung to remove 802.11b from the phone.
