100GB in your pocket…or are you just happy to see me?

Gigabank 100GB (black portable drive)

I/OMagic just upped the max capacity of their GigaBank line of personal storage devices to 100GB. While there are other portable 100GB drives out there, these battery-free USB 2.0, 2.5-inch IDE drives claim to be the only device "in its class" offering a "single-touch" backup — hit the backup button on the drive and the "software will instantly appear (on Windows XP/2000 only) ready to begin the backup process." Hmmm, maybe mouse clicks and keystrokes don't count as "touches" in SoCal, whutevah. Note, the drives do not feature USB On-The-Go support so the only thing you'll be backing up is your PC. While pricing for the 100GB model is not yet available, you can expect to pay about $200US for the 80GB option.
